Compassionate Sleep Consulting
By a Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Helping every child - and their family - find confidence and calm through better sleep.
Meet Lyndsay Plato
Certified Sleep Consultant and Pediatric Occupational Therapist
At Moonlight Foundations I combine the science of OT and the art of healthy sleep to help children and families find confidence, balance, and rest. I work with infants, toddlers, and preschool aged children who experience challenges with sleep, emotional regulation, sensory processing, and daily routines.
Whether your child is struggling to fall asleep, stay asleep, or manage transitions throughout the day, I offer compassionate, evidence based support tailored to support your family’s unique needs. With expertise in child development, sensory integration, and behavioral sleep strategies, my goal is to build strong foundations that help your child- and your whole family, thrive.
My services are primarily virtual so families can receive support from anywhere. However, if you’re local to the St. Charles, MO area, I’m happy to offer in-person sessions when possible.

FAQs
-
I support family’s birth to age 5. Each stage brings unique sleep and developmental needs, and I tailor my approach to meet your child right where they are.
-
As a pediatric OT, I look beyond the surface level sleep behaviors to understand the whole child- their sensory processing, emotional regulation, routines, and environment. This means we don’t just “train” sleep: we build foundations for calm, connection, and consistency.
-
Yes! I am passionate about supporting children of all abilities. My background in early intervention allows me to adapt sleep strategies for children with sensory sensitivities, ADHD, Autism, and other developmental differences. Every family’s plan is individualized and respectful of your child’s needs.
-
No. I use responsive and relationship-based methods that prioritize emotional safety and connection. We’ll find gentle strategies that align with your family’s values and your child’s temperament.
-
The first step is to complete the contact form. I’ll personally reach out to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation where we can talk through your concerns, answer questions, and see if we’re a good fit. If it feels right, we’ll then schedule a time for a full assessment and create a plan that supports your child and family.

At this time, Moonlight Foundations does not accept insurance. Payment plans can be arranged, with full payment completed prior to receiving the final plan. Please reach out if you’d like to discuss options.
Every family deserves peaceful nights.
